M.Sc. Geoscience at University of Nevada Las Vegas
Mahmud received his Masters degree in Geoscience from the United States of America at the University of Nevada Las Vegas under a prestigious scholarship titled “Iraqi Scholars and Leaders Program”; his scholarship program was funded by Exxon-Mobil oil company.
Mahmud’s research interest include Tectonics and Structural Geology, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote sensing application in geology including satellite and aerial image analysis.

Dilshad received his masters degree in Geology at Salahaddin University-Erbil in 2010; During his masters degree he studied sedimentology and Stratigraphy of Cretaceous Formations In Iraq. In 2014, he was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to Study a PhD program at Royal Holloway University of London. During his PhD he has focused on studying Glacial sedimentology and glacitectonic deformation within different parts of the UK and western USA.
Dilshad’s research interested included but not limited to sedimentology, stratigraphy and glacitectonic deformation.
Mahdi received his masters degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Scotland, UK in a joint program between Heriot Watt- Edinburgh Universities. His masters program was sponsored by the Iraqi government under the HCED program.
Mahdi’s research interest include studying well logs, petrophysical properties of the reservoirs and petroleum system evaluation.
Kaiwan received his masters degree in GIS and Remote sensing from the United Kingdom at the University of Southampton. His Masters program was sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
Kaiwan’s research interest include applications of satellite images in the field of environmental geology and Agriculture.
